PROVEN RESULTS: SERVICE HISTORY REFERENCE DATABASE
Our state-of-the-art technologies allow us to store and access information from all services. Upon initially serving your document, we will always inform you when, where, and to whom it was served. Additionally, when our constables are able to obtain information such as phone numbers or a place of employment, we will also provide you with such information and record it in our database. If needed, we are also happy to be able to provide you with details of past services upon request.

If a respondent is not at the address initially provided by a client, we will perform basic skip tracing efforts at NO CHARGE to the client (i.e., directory assistance, phone book, web search, public tax records, voter registration as well as a search of our extensive database containing tens of thousands of detailed records of Rhode Island residents, such as new addresses, phone numbers and places of employment). When results are found, at the discretion of the client, we will then attempt to serve at a different location. We are also legally authorized to run address checks through the appropriate post office if a defendant has recently moved; in many cases, we are able to obtain a new address from the Postmaster in order to successfully serve the recipient with your legal documents.

COST – NO HIDDEN FEES!
Ocean State Constables, LLC charges a flat rate per service, regardless of the type of service. There are never any additional charges or hidden fees. If additional service attempts are needed, our constables will make as many attempts as necessary to successfully serve the respondent at no extra cost.

We perform basic skip traces AT NO CHARGE to the client on all defendants which we are unable to locate at the original address provided.

NOTE: For the Service of Subpoenas, you may have to tender to the witness a small fee for one day's attendance and mileage as indicated by Law. Our office can provide you with the exact amount of a witness fee in advance as required by statute law in the event that such fee is required.

DOCUMENT RETRIEVAL
Do you need specific court documents? We can retrieve requested documents from any Rhode Island Courthouse and fax, email, or mail them to you directly.

NOTE: The State of RI requires that all constables be licensed and bonded in each court for which they are serving process.

Not all RI Constables are authorized to serve legal process in all RI cities and, may only serve process based on their license and bond parameters.

At Ocean State Constables, LLC, all of our constables have obtained Full Authority, Proper Licensing and Bonds that allow them to serve EVERY City, County & Town within the State of RI as well as the Full Power to serve legal process for every court.
